Screw Conveyor

A screw conveyor is used to move liquid and granular stuff using a helical rotating screw blade. It consists of a tube containing a spiral blade which is coiled around a shaft, held or free at one end and driven at the other end. Screw conveyors are often used inside plants because they are completely enclosed, thus material transfer is weather-proof and dust-free. Of all the conveyor systems, screw conveyors cost the least to purchase and maintain.
